Initial situation

MSD Tiergesundheit had already decided to convert the existing space into a flexible work environment before the planned relocation to Die Macherei in Q3 2021. The two drivers behind this change were firstly the new cross-functional organisational structure, and secondly, the timely opportunity to gain experience in agile cooperation before moving to Die Macherei.

The framework conditions for this project were clearly defined: use of existing possibilities, a limited budget and the prerequisite for all new furniture to be transferred to Die Macherei.

Results

The project was successfully implemented within budget and without refurbishment, and the project group was extremely happy with it. Radical decluttering, uniform IT equipment and new complementary furniture give the space an inviting and homely feel. The new work environment reflects MSD’s way of thinking and behaving: empowering, networking, experimenting, sharing and learning.
